Before returning back home to Dallas Texas today, I absolutely had to take a few minutes to express how AWESOME the service was my mother and I received this weekend from a young man by the name of Maurice T. If I may, let me start off by saying my mother has really been down and lost for mouths since the recent passing of my baby brother (he died in a motorcycle accident). My sister and I decided to come to Arkansas to lift her spirits by doing a makeover of her home. We knew right off we had to find new furniture so a friend recommended that we come to Hanks. There was a lot of hesitation on going to a big store because we didn’t want the experience to be much for mom. However, after walking through the doors of Hank’s Furniture Store we were immediately welcomed by a very professional, warm and pleasant voice. The young man that greeted us was very detailed and knowledgeable. He did a fantastic job at providing us a very clear visual blue print of the different areas in the store. He was “Not at all” the typical cold and overbearing sales consultant that you would typically find in other stores. He quickly set our expectations and graciously allowed us to start our journey to browse the store at our own speed. He respectfully checked in on us from time to time to make sure our questions was answered and then he allowed us continued on. One of the things that stood out the most was Maurice warm and friendly smile and the light relevant conversation he sparked while checking on us which really made my mom smile. Although he had other customers he truly went out of his way to make our experience an unforgettable one. This great experience ended with mom purchasing (TWO) of your L-shaped Sofas with the intent to come back for future items. The smile she had after leaving Hanks is one that we have not seen in a long while. And I can truly say it was all because of the great service she received in your store from Maurice T. I can truly say that everyone in the store was very nice and going forward Hank’s will absolutely be the place for us to shop. :) We truly thank you for having such great people in your store that aim to provide unforgettable experiences. These are things that should not go unnoticed!!!!!!!!!

Chance Jobe did an outstanding job for us. He went above and beyond what we expected. We purchased a condo in Destin, Fl, and Chance did a great job helping us with the furnishings, and handling the delivery and set up since we were unable to be there. Chance provided great service and advice. We will come back to Home Place as we need additional furniture. Thanks.

12-29-10 • Shining Star Crew!

We have been dealing with your crew in Pensacola now for the past year and we have been most impressed. My wife and I started looking for a replacement sofa for our “Lazy Boy” that was starting to show its age. We looked all over Pensacola and finally found just what we were looking for at Home Place. We waited until this particular item went on sale and we were very happy with the comfort of the sofa. Unfortunately, over the period of the next several months, we were encountered a rather odd occurrence whereby the frame appeared to bend so the upper aspect of the sofa (both left and right upper back supports) started separating from the mid section. In addition, there were two specific areas of the leather that appeared to wear prematurely almost as if the fabric was not uniformly died by the furniture factory. So we returned to your Pensacola store and submitted a claim since we had purchased your extended warranty plan. The store manager not only honored our warranty but allowed my wife to upgrade to a more expensive sofa which was manufactured by the very same company that produced our damaged sofa. The store manager and his staff then went so far as to go out of their way to ensure the scheduled delivery occurred on 23 December; so that my family and friends were able to enjoy the usage of the replacement sofa, just in time for Christmas. Now the story gets even better, somehow the electric switch on the right side of the sofa became damaged during shipment, storage or delivery. The delivery crew did everything humanly possible to ensure the proper function of the switch prior to their departure, but ultimately determined it would require actual replacement. I then dropped by the store that very same afternoon on the way home from work. I talked with the store manager once again in an attempt to schedule the replacement of the electric switch. Not only did he once again drop what he was doing to offer assistance, but he immediately located “Travis” the local furniture repair technician who then reported to our home within the next two hours. Travis was extremely polite and professional during his visit to our home and should be commended for his truly outstanding customer service and exceptional technical support. He was an absolutely wonderful ambassador for Home Place and was a delight to interact with during this in-home repair. We are extremely appreciative of the truly outstanding support and customer service your store in Pensacola has provided for us. If you ever need to refer to an exceptional performance model for the rest of your Home Place showrooms, this Pensacola crew is most certainly your shining star! Once again, WELL DONE.

1.29.11 • Fine Service

My wife and I just purchased two recliners from your store in Hot Springs. The salesperson was Frank Snapp. He is personable, friendly, knowledgeable, and all in all a really fine gent. It is rare to find a salesperson with all these things tied up in one. Wife and I are both in our seventies, and his help with delivery and set-up was outstanding! THANKS, FRANK Mr. & Mrs. David P. 09-07-10 • I LOVE my furniture!

I LOVE my furniture! It looks so nice and I am happy. Allen and Tony are the delivery guys and they did a FANTASTIC job! Jack Webb is the salesman who helped me and he did a wonderful job in helping me find what I was wanting. Everyone at Home Place in Pensacola was very helpful and nice! I will go there again when I need some more furniture!

09-02-10 • Delay, but kept informed

I went to Home Place after seeing all the TV spots and my friends had bought there furniture there. I went in found my sofa of my dreams. I am very picky and hard to please but there it was and at a great price. The salesman told me it would take 4 weeks...on the 3rd week he called to tell me of a delay from the factory. I told him I had waited years for the right sofa a couple extra weeks would be fine and thanks for keeping me informed. When it came in I was so happy...yes it was delayed but my salesman kept me informed. I am very happy and pleased! Next is my bedroom...

08.29.11 • A Great Attitude & wonderful service

Home Place Kudos Subject: Melissa B. Message: I want to recognize Melissa from your Destin Florida store, for the wonderful service she provided us on our most recent purchase. We had problems with the quality of furniture we bought in May for our condo. She was most helpful in turning very upset customers into very happy customers. She handled the situation professionally, and very sweetly. Even when I was very irate. We went from customers who would never purchase at your store again, to customers that will now come back. We own 3 condos in that area, that all need updating! Today it seems like we only hear of people doing wrong. I just want you to know you have a wonderful employee, who did everything right. I do not know if you do any employee recognitions, but she should definitely be recognized for her great work. She is a great representative for your company. May I post this on our website? Absolutely you may put it on your site. Melissa just took a situation that, her supervisor escalated into a bad one, and went above and beyond to make it right.

08-25-10 • Great Service and Great Product

After reading a couple of reviews I was concerned but realized that you can't always make everyone happy. So I went to the store. I was greeted by a salesman as soon as I came in and ask to help me. I explained I had just bought a condo and needed everything. He asked me how many bedrooms and would it be for a rental. I told him yes. He help me pick out everything. Both bedrooms, living room, and dining room. He told me it would be about two to three weeks to arrive. In 3 weeks I got a call and to sch. my delivery. On the day of delivery drivers called me ahead of time to let me know they were on there way. Everything looks great and I got top dollar for my rental, I will use them again for my next condo. Thanks Home Place!

Chance, I just wanted to take a few minutes to tell you thank you for all your assistance and guidance in decorating the condo in Destin. The condo turned out fabulous. Everyone that walks in thinks it is breathtaking. We usually paint the entire house beige because we are afraid of making color mistakes but with your help we were able to give the condo color and everything flows wonderfully. It looks like an elegant Mediterranean villa. I have no doubt we will be able to get top dollar on our rentals because of the furnishings and decor. Thanks again,

05-18-10 • Our First Bedroom!

I just got my new bedroom from Home Place in Destin. It is everything I wanted in a bedroom. My husband and I had been saving for some time to get our first real bedroom. After going to some friends house and seeing there furniture they got from Home Place I decide I will try it out. I am glad I did. The salesperson was not pushy and answered all of my questions. I got my order when I was told I would and the two guys James and Rick who brought it to my home was so nice. They moved a old mattress set for me where I could get the new bedroom and mattress set I bought from Home Place in the room. Now its time to save up for a new living room! Thanks again we're SO EXCITED!
