A little history

Founded in 1975 by Hank Browne, Hank’s Fine Furniture,  is a sister store to Home Place Furniture, has grown to 14 stores in 5 states and is one of North America's Top 100 Independent Furniture Retailers. Hank Browne saw the need on the Gulf Coast for the type of store he had been so successful with in several states. So, in 1999, he launched Home Place Furniture in Panama City, Fl. In 2002, the second Home Place Furniture was opened in Pensacola, FL and then added a showroom and huge distribution center in Mobile, Alabama in 2003. The newest addition is our Home Place Furniture & Interiors showroom in Destin, Fl, right across from the Destin Commons.From the very beginning, our success has been built on offering quality furniture, bedding and accessories at excellent values. As a family-owned business, Home Place Furniture has thrived because of our dedication to service after the sale. You, the customer, have been the most important part of our business for over 30 years.
