Hank's Furniture wins awards from major Arkansas publications, as well as, National Philanthropy Day Award!

Little Rock, Arkansas- "WOW! It's been quite a year for the company." says Hank Browne, owner and President of Hanks Fine Furniture, based in Little Rock, Arkansas. "It makes me very happy to know that the people of Arkansas appreciate the effort and dedication our employees give to making this company so strong and are so vocal about it."

Browne is referring to the readers of the Arkansas Democrat Gazette newspaper and the Arkansas Times newspaper who both voted the company "Best of the Best" for furniture stores. Soirée magazine readers have also voted Hank's Fine Furniture stores the "Platinum Service Award" for exceptional customer service and the Arkansas chapter of the Association of Fund raising professionals awarded Hank's Fine Furniture the "Outstanding Corporation for Philanthropy" in a November ceremony.

Hank's Furniture has 16 stores in 5 states, with the highest concentration in Arkansas. In many of the other locations in Arkansas, the Hanks Furniture stores have won "Best of the Best" for several years. The company is family owned and has been in business 35 years. Browne's company has been in the Top 100 Independent Retail Furniture Companies in North America for 15 years.

The company is expanding its product lines to include gallery furniture. With the opening of the Hank's & More showroom in West Little Rock in 2008, the store has now the largest Thomasville gallery in the state. The Jonesboro location recently has been enlarged to accommodate galleries such as Thomasville, Bernhardt, Hooker, Kincaid, Lexington and Schnadig. More expansion plans are on the drawing board.

"We try everyday to give our customers big selection, great quality furniture at the lowest possible price and exceptional service after the sale. I say "we" because I am fortunate to have terrific people working for Hank's in every position in the company. It takes everyone to make this company a success year after year!" says Browne.
